How to play
Three steps from download to takeoff.
Install the original client
You need a legally obtained copy of ACE Online on this PC. Open Aces imports your existing game data at runtime and does not ship those assets.
Get the launcher
Run the Windows installer (recommended) or portable ZIP, then create an account or sign in. Linux builds ship as a tar.gz you extract anywhere.
Launch & fly
Choose your character and server. The launcher updates the client and starts the game when you’re ready.
